Wellington College Foundation

The Wellington College Foundation fundraises to sustain the special character of the school both for today and for the future.

The Foundation was established in 1989 to serve generous donors wanting to support the College. It does this by engaging with the whole community to attract, retain, and grow funds for the benefit of the boys and staff and by acting as Trustee for funds raised.

The Foundation is the organisation through which financial support for the school is directed and funds distributed. The Foundation’s broad objective is to anticipate and provide for the funding needs of Wellington College over and above what is provided by the Ministry of Education. Income is derived from donations and gifts directed to the school through any of the Foundation’s fundraising programs.

The Foundation draws on the experience of our community to provide support and advice to make your giving transformative and impactful. The Foundation ensures the school can meet its ongoing capital and investment obligations from the returns of the endowment.

If you would like to make a donation our friendly Advancement Team is just a phone call or email away to discuss how you may wish to support the College and the Foundation further.
