Uniform

Historically the Wellington College uniform has been a distinctive feature of the College, readily identifiable throughout the city.

Therefore, students are expected to take pride in the presentation of the uniform in keeping with the highest traditions of the College, and as a reflection of the standards of excellence we hold of ourselves and our community.

Shop Information

The Shop is open to whānau and students during the school term. The Shop is closed during school holidays, public holidays and over the summer holidays.

Payment methods

We accept cash, Eftpos, and Visa or MasterCard. You can also ring or email your credit card details, the items can then be collected from the shop or left at the school reception. We do not have internet banking facilities or operate any accounting system.

Uniform for Hire

Contact us if you would like to hire a blazer or trousers.

  • We do not hire white shirts or ties – these are available for purchase.
  • A $50 bond is required at the time of hireage and will be returned when the clothing is returned in acceptable condition.

  • Dry cleaning fees will be incurred if the uniform is returned in a poor state.

Second-Hand Uniform

The Uniform Shop purchases good quality second-hand uniform at set prices. The following form must accompany the items you wish to sell to us. Please ensure all uniform items are freshly laundered and in excellent condition.

Second-hand clothing can be viewed and purchased during shop opening hours. We also appreciate donations of school uniform.
