We are excited to announce an incredible international opportunity for our students in collaboration with Infuse Travel, a 2026 student expedition to India.

Following the success of our 2025 World Challenge journey to Borneo, Malaysia (see @wcborneo2025 on Instagram), we are once again offering Wellington College students the opportunity to step outside their comfort zones and experience meaningful cultural immersion.

Earlier, we had advertised a 2026 Nepal expedition with World Challenge. However, their New Zealand and Australian operations have since closed, and after carefully considering recent events and potential risks in the region, we have made the decision to shift the destination to India. While international travel always carries some risk, we are confident this change provides greater certainty and strong support structures for our students.

This three-week expedition (departing after NCEA exams and returning 24/25 December) is open to students in Years 11–13. Through cultural exchange, guided experiences, and service opportunities, students will develop independence, global awareness, and leadership skills. The main components of this expedition are exploration, service and trekking.
