Wellington College Certificate and Year 10 Journey Marks – Co-Curricular
August 29, 2025

We have now contacted all Year 10 and 11 students who completed the Google Form and still need additional co-curricular activities to meet their Certificate or Journey Mark goal. We are continuing to work through responses – thank you for your patience. If you completed the form but have not heard from us, this means you have already met the co-curricular requirements.
Important reminders:
-
Clubs and Groups:
It is now too late in the year to join a new club or group for the 2025 Certificate or Journey Mark. However, you are welcome to join for next year. Please contact the Teacher in Charge of the club or group for more information. -
Community Service:
You can still complete community service hours this year. A minimum of 5 hours is required, logged through the Student Volunteer Army (SVA) website using your school email. Completing this will also earn you an SVA membership badge. Please note: service must be completed in 2025 to count towards this year’s Certificate or Journey Mark. Connect with local community groups to find opportunities. Students have until Friday 7 November (Week 5/Term 4) to complete their service and add it to the form. -
Google Forms:
The Co-Curricular Google Forms remain open. Students who have not yet completed theirs are encouraged to do so. Caregivers may assist, but the form must be accessed via the student’s school email account. Students can update their entry if they need to add more information.
Certificates and Journey Marks
More information about the Certificate and Journey Marks can be found here. The certificate level awarded is based on a student’s academic effort, visible through their Check and Reflects. The co-curricular requirement secures that level. If this requirement is not met, the certificate level will be adjusted down to ensure fairness and integrity across all students.
If students would like to discuss their Certificate, they are welcome to visit Deputy Principal Nikki Corbishley in P7.
