Wellington College Certificate and Year 10 Journey Marks – Co-Curricular

June 12, 2026

We have emailed all Year 10 and 11 students a google form to fill in their co-curricular teams/clubs/groups, and service. This is so that we can support students early as they track towards their WC Certificate and Journey Mark goals.

Important reminders:

  • Clubs and Groups:
If you are unsure which clubs are eligible towards the certificate, you can check the Clubs page where it will state if it is.

  • Sports:
All sports offered at WC counts towards the certificate. Only external sports that are not offered at WC can count, such as Judo or Fencing.

  • Community Service:
All service must be logged through the Student Volunteer Army (SVA) website using your school email. Completing this will also earn you an SVA membership badge (A minimum of 5 hours is required – we encourage more of course!) Connect with local community groups to find opportunities. Also join the school’s Volunteer Club to hear opportunities for service at school.

  • Google Forms:
Caregivers may assist, but the form must be accessed via the student’s school email account. Students can update their entry if they need to add more information.

Certificates and Journey Marks

More information about the Certificate and Journey Marks can be found here. The certificate level awarded is based on a student’s academic effort, visible through their Check and Reflects. The co-curricular requirement secures that level. If this requirement is not met, the certificate level will be dropped down to ensure fairness across all students.

If students would like to discuss their Certificate, they are welcome to visit Mrs Corbishley or Ms Vreeburg.
