May 20, 2021
On Tuesday 18th May we were delighted to co-host our Senior Wellbeing Day with Wellington East Girls College. The day started with an address from Chloe Swarbrick on the topic of Mental Health which was then followed by a series of workshops. Topics ranged from car maintenance to flatting, financial investing to gender education, from board games to first aid. Throughout the day over 100 workshops were on offer and there certainly was enough range to keep all our students interested. It was great to welcome Wellington East Girls to our campus and equally to share their wonderful facilities too. Our warmest thanks go to the student leaders from both Colleges who organised this fantastic day.
On 21 May our school will be a mass of pink as we celebrate Pink Shirt Day. Our students will be certainly a lot more colourful than the usual and we are grateful to the large number of students who support this day each year and the important anti-bullying message that it promotes.
