October 7, 2025

Reading CAA results were released at 3pm on Thursday 9 October. Numeracy and Writing CAA results will be released at 3pm on 20 October.
This is an update for families of students who sat the NCEA Literacy and Numeracy Co-Requisite Common Assessment Activities (CAAs) in September.
Results for the Reading CAAare now available and can be viewed by students through their MyNZQA login. Results for the Numeracy and Writing CAAs will be released at 3pm on 20 October.
Feedback Reports for students who do not achieve a Literacy or Numeracy standard will be available via students’ MyNZQA logins at the same time as the results are released.
Once released by NZQA, you can also view your child’s results via the WC Parent Portal:
-
Literacy Reading: US32403: Demonstrate understanding of ideas and information in written texts
-
Literacy Writing: US32405 Write texts to communicate ideas and information
-
Numeracy: US32406 Apply Mathematics and Statistics in a range of everyday situations
Please note that to fully meet the Literacy Co-Requisite, students must pass both the Reading and Writing assessments. The earliest that Wellington College students can be awarded their Literacy Co-Requisite is at the end of Term 2 in Year 11, after they have attempted their Writing CAA in May of that year.
A huge congratulations to all students who entered. They approached these assessments with real focus and determination. For those who didn’t achieve the result they were hoping for, please know there are further opportunities to re-sit the tests. We also offer a range of support, interventions, and alternative pathways to help every student meet the standard and will be in touch about those early next year.
Further information about the Co-Requisites is also available on our website.
