Karthik Manikandan Sethuramalingam (Year 12) was awarded Top in the World for his performance in the Cambridge International AS Mathematics examinations held in November 2025.

Karthik, his father Sethuramalingam, and Mr Harvey attended the Outstanding Cambridge Learners Award ceremony held in Auckland last week to receive the award.

Karthik’s perfect score in the AS exams reflects his aptitude for Mathematics, his attention to detail, and an enormous amount of hard work. Karthik also sat and passed Scholarship Calculus as a Year 11 student last year.

Our last student to achieve Top in the World in the Cambridge exams was Nicholas Patel back in 2019.
