Important Notice – PPTA Strike Action

School closed on Wednesday 20 August 2025

We have been advised that PPTA members will be undertaking strike action on Wednesday, 20 August 2025. This action will directly affect our ability to staff classes and deliver normal teaching and learning programmes.
As a result, Wellington College will be closed for instruction on Wednesday, 20 August 2025. We ask that parents and caregivers make alternative arrangements for their children on this day.
We understand this may cause disruption for families, and we appreciate your support and understanding – the decision to close our campus is not taken lightly.
