Next Term, free Year 9 Hearing Screening is taking place at Wellington College as part of Listen Up, New Zealand, a national programme by the Deaf and Hard of Hearing Foundation. This quick, simple, and non-invasive check can identify early signs of hearing loss that may be affecting your child’s learning.

Therefore, during week 3 of Term 4, we will be offering all Year 9 students this opportunity to attend the hearing assessment. This will take place in the AGC Meeting Room 2 during school time on 27, 28, 29 and 30 October.

If you would like your child to participate in this programme, please encourage your child to complete the Screening Questionnaire below by Friday 16th October:

Please note that if your son has already been diagnosed with a hearing impairment (i.e. wears hearing aids), then they will not need to be tested.
