We hosted the amazing crew from Foundation for Positive Masculinity at Wellington College on 29 August. Joined by educators from close to thirty schools around Aotearoa, our conference was focused on engaging boys and improving their life outcomes through connection, authenticity and motivation.

We were humbled to have Matt Englar-Carlson present a keynote, alongside Ray Swann, Ingrid Howren, Kristen Molloy, and our good friend Mark Dowley, all from the Crowther Centre which runs the foundation.

Our Learning Area Leaders and Deans also attended the day, and we’re excited for them to share and amplify their learning. We also had staff popping in and out for the keynotes, which was great and will have an impact in our classrooms.  

Our attention now turns to ensuring our learning impacts the experiences and outcomes of our boys at Wellington College, as Ray Swann termed it, ‘soul work‘.
