Kia ora parents and caregivers,

Students must choose their courses for 2025 by Monday 19th August at the latest.

Students will login to Careers Central to make their choices. The final date for submission of choices will be no later than the 19th August.  Parents are able to login to Careers Central to view their young person’s information, using the Caregiver login at https://www.careercentral.school.nz/. The login details are the same as on the school portal.

Who can help?

We understand that at times it is difficult to reach a decision and if that is the case please email your son’s Tutor teacher for advice. Learning Area Leaders also will be able to provide advice and guidance, and a list is available here.

You can also contact the Learning Area Leader for Careers & Transition, Hamish Davidson h.davidson@wc.school.nz.   Parents and caregivers are also able to make appointments with Hamish, either in person or online.  Book via wc-careers.youcanbook.me.

Key Dates 

• August 7th and 14th – Course selection conversations with Tutor Teachers at Coll time during Weeks 3 and 4

• August 19th – Last day for confirmation of subject selection via Career Central
