Nau mai, haere mai – Class of 1986! To celebrate the 40 Years On reunion of the cohort, a range of events have been organised across Friday 8th and Saturday 9th May, 2026. Please see below for further details and register your attendance via the link.

Friday 8 May, 6pm – Social event at Te Aro Brewing ($20)

Buses will pick you up at Rydges Hotel and take you to Te Aro Brewing (owned by ’86 Classmate, Stew Gebbie) based at Brewtown in Upper Hutt. Mix and mingle and renew old friendships! Food and drinks will be available for purchase, and buses will return you to the city.

Saturday 9 May, 10am – School Visit ($5)

A visit to Wellington College for a literal stroll down memory lane. The College Archives will be open, and tours of the School will be available, along with a morning tea. This will also be a chance to meet the current Headmaster, Glen Denham, and to hear from him about life at the College. A class photo on the Terraces will also be taken.

Saturday 9 May, 6pm – Social event at The Shepherds’ Arms Hotel ($20)

The Shepherds’ Arms on Tinakori Road is the venue for the main event of the weekend. An archives display and a montage of artefacts from your era will be on show and food and drinks will be available for purchase. If you are only planning or able to attend one evening event, we’d suggest you try to make it to this one!
