The College excels in areas of stage performance, music, debating and public speaking, often winning regional competitions and performing at the national level. There are many opportunities to acquire and develop new skills in the cultural co-curricular programme, and Wellington College students have a reputation for being well-rounded with their participation in cultural as well as sporting activities.
Some of these activities, such as stage productions and music groups, require an ongoing commitment from the students, but other activities such as the lunchtime clubs of chess and theatresports, are activities students can join when they choose.
