Around 30 organised sports are offered at Wellington College, and students also have the opportunity to be involved in a large number of cultural programmes, so there is something for everyone. Participation, enjoyment and the opportunity to succeed at any level is paramount.
All students at the College are encouraged to participate in at least one sport and one cultural activity.
Wellington College is traditionally very strong in sport, with most codes featuring at the top of the local sporting scene and several featuring prominently at the national level. The College also excels at the top level in cultural activities such as stage performance, music, debating and public speaking.
