CANOE POLO
 
Canoe polo is a growing sport at Wellington College, with more players competing for regional representation each year.  School leagues take place in Terms 1 and 2, with a Wellington Representative  team chosen in Term 3.  Students from all levels are welcome to join.

TRAINING: One lunchtime per week for land drills

COMPETITION: Wednesday
SEASON: Terms 1 and 2
 
DRAGON BOATING
 
The dragon boating season lasts for six weeks in Term 1, culminating in the Wellington Secondary Schools’ Championships.

TRAINING: Tuesdays and Thursdays 4:00-5:00pm (Colts), Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:00-6:00pm (Seniors)

SURFING
 
The numbers of students involved in surfing is increasing, and the Surfing Academy provides weekly opportunities to learn about the sport and participate in regular surfing trips at weekends.

YACHTING
 
Yachting at Wellington College is based around the local Secondary Schools competitions, with the aim of qualifying for the NZ Secondary Schools’ Teams Racing Championships.  We can only cater for those who have sailed before, and sailing instruction is available through the local sailing clubs.
