The Sports Centre was opened in 1985 and was supported generously by Sir Francis Renouf. It continues to be the hub of sporting life at the College, and is the focus of the Physical Education Department.
The main sports played there include basketball, volleyball and badminton. It is used day and night, and is a fabulous facility which is integral to so much of the sporting activity carried out at Wellington College.
