In addition, any absence from the College must be explained by a note from a parent or caregiver immediately the student returns to school. This note should be handed to Student Reception at the beginning of the day.
Wellington College takes attendance seriously. Contact will be made with a student’s home for any unaccountable absence or persistent lateness to school.
Enquires about absence or lateness can be directed to either the Form Teacher, Dean or the Attendance Officer, Mrs Penny Basile on phone 802 2520. Ms Basile is the staff member who will make most frequent contact with the home.
